Mr. Brandon Davis, Chief Curator of Culture Champion Creative, is one of Lexycal Multimedia’s long-time Media and Marketing Management Clients. Mr. Brandon Davis is serving as Mr. North America (Revolutionary Pageant System) & Mr. Pennsylvania (U.S. United Pageant System). His platform for both systems is advocating for formerly homeless foster care youth, his goal is to use these titles to provide positive examples of uplift.
When asked why he decided to do pageantry, he told us that he wanted to empower people to become the positive example instead of looking externally for change. There are so many pageantry systems out there but he decided to represent over 620,000,000 in North America through Revolutionary and 13,000,000 in Pennsylvania for U.S. United. He specifically chose these systems because they are built on the foundation of increasing the diverse representation of true changemakers int he community.
It’s not just about pomp & circumstance for him, but what anchors him is the motivation to be the change that he wants to see in the world. One of his favorite quotes is from a Black Psychologist, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, who says that Black children need to see royal and regal images. This is one of his contributions.
